Philip Grant

Philip Grant is Managing Director, UK Private Banking at Lloyds Banking Group.

He was educated in Scotland and joined Bank of Scotland at the age of 17.  After nine years in the branch network, during which he completed his banking qualifications, Philip completed a full time MBA at the University of Strathclyde.

His career then progressed through various leading roles in Bank of Scotland Corporate.

In January 2005, Philip moved from Corporate to Retail to head up Advisory Sales and Specialist Banking, which induded Bancassurance, Business and Private Banking.  He also took on responsibility for the network in Scotland. 

In March 2006, he became Managing Director Intermediary Distribution and Specialist Banking, with responsibility for Private Banking, Business Banking, Offshore Banking, Colleys, IF, Birmingham Midshires, Halifax Intermediaries, TMB, BoS Mortgages and Partnerships following which he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Integration Director of the Wholesale Division of Lloyds Banking Group.
