What is involved?

  • Complete 35 hours CPD activity, including the Professionalism and Ethics element, or participate through an Approved Employer Scheme.
  • Prepare a CPD plan which will record your CPD activity. See ‘How to plan your CPD’ section for more details and a sample CPD plan.
  • Keep your CPD plan up to date by recording the activity undertaken on an ongoing basis.
  • It is preferable for you to retain your CPD plan online within the CIOBS website so that it can be reviewed in the event that you have been selected as part of the sample for monitoring purposes.
