Subject Verifiers

Subject Verifiers play a vital role in ensuring that examinations set by Chief Examiners and the resultant student answers meet the high standards expected.

The Institute needs suitably qualified persons to act as Subject Verifiers for examinations at Chartered Banker level.

The main roles of a Subject Verifier are:

  • undertaking an ongoing quality audit of the Chartered Banker.
  • Ensuring that the assessment process is valid, reliable and practicable, and therefore credible.
  • Ensuring that evidence of student performance is accurately interpreted.

To become a Subject Verifier you must:

  • be professionally qualified to a minimum of MCIBS level, or have another recognised educational qualification
  • have wide experience in the subject area in which you are interested
  • have e-mail and internet access.

If you meet this criteria and are interested in becoming a Subject Verifier, please send your CV to Raymond Brown, Senior Learning & Development Manager.

Alternatively, if you would like to have an informal chat about any available opportunities, why not call Raymond on 0131 473 7775.

The Chartered Banker programme provides broad, flexible skill sets and a wide range of ways to achieve the qualification.
