Chartered Banker Diploma 

The Chartered Banker Diploma is our highest examined award, combining theory and practice. The overall aim of the programme is to provide you with an extensive, detailed and critical knowledge and understanding of the banking sector and to develop your skills and abilities to make professional judgements and informed decisions in relevant work situations.

Chartered Banker MBA

We have joined forces with the UK's top rated Bangor University to offer a ground breaking qualification that allows you to gain the dual award of an MBA in banking and finance, together with Chartered Banker status.

Associate Chartered Banker Diploma

The Associate Chartered Banker Diploma is an ideal way to build upon your current skills and experience or simply your next step after completing the Institute’s foundation professional qualifications such as the Professional Banker Certificate or Diploma. It allows you to develop and strengthen your skills and knowledge whilst assisting you to demonstrate and develop your core and technical skills and allowing you to be one of today’s modern bankers. On completion, you will become eligible for Associate membership of the Institute with the professional designation Associate Chartered Banker.

The Institute’s Advanced Diploma is no longer open to new candidates. If you hold an Advanced Diploma from the Institute, you may wish to study the Associate Chartered Banker Diploma or progress directly to the Chartered Banker Diploma

 

Professional Banker Certificate/Professional Banker Diploma

The Professional Banker Certificate [PBC] is an introductory qualification for individuals working in retail, business and private banking environments.  It requires no prior learning or qualifications and is available to individuals wishing to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism.

The Professional Banker Diploma builds on the PBC syllabus to support the development of technical knowledge and skills relevant to a range of banking roles. It provides a stepping stone to study towards the Advanced Diploma.  

Diploma in Investment Planning

The Diploma in Investment Planning fully meets the qualification requirements laid out by the Financial Services Authority's Retail Distribution Review [RDR]. It is specifically designed to support advisers or prospective advisers of packaged retail investment products and those that complete can apply for the professional designation Professional Financial Adviser, and to apply for a Statement of Professional Standing.

Mortgage Advice

The Institute offers a comprehensive package of learning and development to those working in the area of regulated advice for retail mortgage products. The programme helps advisers achieve the regulatory requirements and advance professional standards associated with their advice role.

    On completion of MAPC or an equivalent qualification you will become eligible for Professional Mortgage Adviser (PMA) status.     Diploma in Investment Accounting

    In conjunction with The Chartered Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and Scottish Investment Operations, we offer a Diploma in Investment Accounting for fund accountants.  

     

     

     

    The Chartered Banker programme provides broad, flexible skill sets and a wide range of ways to achieve the qualification.
