We offer a variety of banking and financial services qualifications to complement your career interests and job role.  Different entry and exit points allow you to choose the most suitable qualifications for you.   You can download the appropriate course information using the links below.

Chartered Banker
Chartered Banker is the gold standard qualification for professionals working in the financial services sector.  It gives you a world class qualification that is supported and recognised by major financial services organisations and is our highest professional level qualification.  The title "Chartered Banker" can only be conferred by the Chartered Banker Institute.

Following a review of Chartered Banker, a revised route map to the qualification is being introduced. The new framework will offer a range of ways to achieve Chartered Banker status.

Chartered Banker MBA

We have joined forces with the UK's top rated Bangor University to offer a ground breaking qualification that allows you to gain the dual award of an MBA in banking and finance, together with Chartered Banker status.

An Advanced Diploma requires you to complete three credits from our Chartered Banker menu of subjects.  We offer Advanced Diplomas in:

• Business and Corporate Banking
• Financial Services
• Financial Services Leadership
• Operational Risk Management
• Building Society Operations
  

Each Advanced Diploma has been structured to give you a sound understanding of the principles of the area to which it relates and can also be used as a stepping stone to Chartered Banker status.  In addition it will build on the knowledge that you have developed during previous qualifications or work experience.

Professional Banker Certificate/Professional Banker Diploma

The Professional Banker Certificate is an introductory qualification for individuals working in retail, business and private banking environments.  It requires no prior learning or qualifications and is available to individuals wishing to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism.

The Professional Banker Diploma involves the completion of the Professional Banker Certificate together with two additional modules.

Regulatory Qualification Framework

The Regulatory Qualification Framework is designed to ensure advisors and practitioners can demonstrate their competence in a regulated role, with a range of FSSC accredited qualifications to meet regulatory requirements and advance professional standards.

• Mortgage Advice and Practice Certificate - MAPC
  
• Mortgage Advice and Practice Certificate (Equity Release)  MAPC(ER)

On completion of MAPC or an equivalent you can be awarded Professional Mortgae Adviser (PMA) status.  By becoming a PMA you demonstrate to your clients that you have appropriate mortgage qualifications and that you are keeping them up to date. Click here for our PMA leaflet.

Diploma in Investment Accounting

In conjuction with The Chartered Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and Scottish Investment Operations, we offer a Diploma in Investment Accounting for fund accountants. For further information click here.
