What if I’m selected for monitoring?

• You will be asked to send in details of your CPD activity.
• On receipt of your CPD plan, which has been requested as part of the sample to be monitored, you may in exceptional circumstances be asked to clarify certain aspects.
• We will accept confirmation of participation in a CPD scheme offered through another professional body providing the 35 hours minimum requirement is met [including appropriate time on Professionalism and Ethics]. The evidence held for the other professional body will suffice for the scheme.
• If your employer participates in the Approved Employer Scheme, then no validation of that element [30 hours] of your CPD is required. The remaining 5 hours of your CPD activity undertaken on an individual basis will require to be validated if you are selected as part of the annual sampling undertaken for monitoring purposes.
• Where your CPD plan has been reviewed as part of monitoring procedures, we will confirm to you that this review has been completed.
