Council/Committees

The Institute is governed by a Council of members (the Trustees of the Institute) who are elected or appointed in accordance with the Royal Charter and Rules.  Council is supported by the following committees:

• Executive Committee
• Education Committee
• Audit Committee
• Nominations Committee
• Remuneration Committee

Most of the committees are made up of Council members but the Education Committee also contains non-Council members who are appointed for their relevant knowledge and experience of the work involved.

The Nominations Committee makes recommendations to Council on the nomination of new Council members, Office Bearers and committee members and would be happy to receive approaches from members interested in serving the Institute in this way.
