Frequently Asked Questions
Enrolments
How do I enrol? Complete and send in/fax your application form.
How many subjects can I enrol for at any given time? It is recommended that you do not enrol for more than three subjects for Certificates or four subjects for Chartered Banker.
What is the cost? It depends on what course and subject you are doing. Details can be found on our application form and course leaflets.
Will my employer sponsor me? You may find that sponsorship is available from your employer and you should speak to your line manager to discuss what possibilities there are for sponsorship.
Who pays for my membership if my employer is sponsoring me? Your employer will normally pay your first annual membership, however it is your responsibility to organise payment of the second subscription with your employer if they are continuing to pay for it. If your membership lapses, you will not be able to sit any exams until your subscription is paid.
How long will it take to receive my books? We aim to have your books sent within 5 working days of receiving your application.
What is in the starter pack? A letter from our Chief Executive; your distance learning guide; a copy of Chartered Banker magazine; and USB stick containing all our rules and regulations, your tutor information, information on introductory days, course dates, exam dates and an introduction from our Chief Executive and your personal mentor.
Where do I receive the course material? The course material is sent by us to your desired address. If it is sent to your home address you will need to ensure that someone is available to sign for it.
The Chartered Banker programme provides broad, flexible skill sets and a wide range of ways to achieve the qualification.
