Chartered Banker

The Chartered Banker programme is our highest examined award, combining theory and practice.  The overall aim of the programme is to provide you with an extensive, detailed and critical knowledge and understanding of the banking sector and to develop your skills and abilities to make professional judgements and informed decisions in relevant work situations.

We have joined forces with the UK's top rated Bangor University to offer a ground breaking qualification that allows you to gain the dual award of an MBA in banking and finance, together with Chartered Banker status.

The Advanced Diploma programme is a stepping stone to Chartered Banker for those progressing their studies from our Professional Banker Diploma or a suitable starting point for those working in the sector with some experience looking to formalise their skills and knowledge.

Professional Banker Certificate/Professional Banker Diploma

The Professional Banker Certificate is an introductory qualification for individuals working in retail, business and private banking environments.  It requires no prior learning or qualifications and is available to individuals wishing to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism.

The Professional Banker Diploma involves the completion of the Professional Banker Certificate together with two additional modules.

Diploma in Investment Planning

We have developed this qualification to met the outcomes of the Financial Services Authority's Retail Distribution Review [RDR] and to support advisers or prospective advisers that provide advice on packaged retail investment products. Mortgage Advice

The Institute offers a comprehensive package of learning and development to those working in the area of regulated advice for retail mortgage products. The programme helps advisers achieve the regulatory requirements and advance professional standards associated with their advice role.
