Event Details

The world economy may finally be laying the ghosts of the crisis to rest. Global growth is clocking up its fastest pace in years with the Eurozone delivering its strongest growth in a decade. The US economy is firing and concerns about China seem to have been forgotten. So there’s plenty to be optimistic about. But is there a bit of complacency? Can higher rates pull the rug from under the recovery?  And why are things not quite so rosy for the UK? Come along to hear our speaker, Marcus Wright, Senior Economist, RBS discuss this topical issue.

Marcus is a senior economist at RBS where he analyses the economy to help inform the Bank’s strategy. He has previously been an economist for an investment trust and an economic consultancy. His particular areas of interest are the UK economy, monetary policy, China and global financial developments
