Leadership Styles – inspire your team to deliver exceptional results
Leadership Styles - inspire your team to deliver exceptional results
Thursday 24th October 2019
Edinburgh, Lothians & Fife District Centre event
Who needs to know about leadership styles? Anyone who wants to achieve exceptional performance through inspiring other people to willingly give their efforts to achieve important goals. If you manage a team or just one other person; if you need to get senior managers or external or internal stakeholders engaged in your project; if you’re a parent and want a harmonious home environment; if you want your volunteer committee to achieve results… in just about any situation at work and in other areas of your life, understanding how to lead with integrity and flexible leadership styles will make you more effective and bring people with you.
This interactive event will explore the core leadership styles which are distilled from a wide range of leadership models in the academic and business worlds. This gives you a framework to start to recognise your own preferred or default style, and explore the strengths and weaknesses of different leadership styles when you are working with other people. Great leadership is highly context dependent and no one style suits all situations. The best leaders are able to match their style to the situation.
