Managing Cyber Risk in the Current Climate

Risk is a massive topic that impacts on our daily lives both at work and home. We are delighted to have Sandy McKenzie,  Cyber Risk Manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland to come along and share his insight in Cyber Risk in relation to Operational Resilience and why it is important to manage it effectively.  He will also cover off what we need to be aware of going forward within the industry and from a regulatory perspective.

Facilitator

Sandy has 17 years of experience in security, resilience and intelligence operations and oversight. He spent 10 years in the RAF, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan where he briefed the British Ambassador on the security situation. Upon joining the bank, he spent 3 years leading the Cyber Threat Intelligence function in Security before moving into Operational Risk. He holds an MSc. in Strategic Studies and holds certifications in Risk Management (MoR), Resilience (MBCI) and Information & Cyber Security (CISSP).
