We are pleased to confirm that David Blunt, Head of Conduct Specialists, FCA; Sir Gerry Berragan, CEO, Institute for Apprenticeships and Antony Jenkins, Founder and Executive Chairman of 10x Future Technologies will act as our key note speakers at our 3rd Professional Education in Banking Conference.

The conference will include a range of panel discussions with contributors from the banking sector, regulators, professional bodies and the academic world with the main theme for the day being technology, professionalism and the future of banking; looking at how we develop the future skills needed by bankers and reflecting on the changing nature of the profession in a digital era, in terms of skills, expertise and professional judgement required of future bankers.

We will be covering the following topics:

  • How are banks using new technology and how are they developing their future banking skills to reflect these changes?
  • How do you keep apprenticeship standards relevant to employers in a constantly changing technological environment?
  • How do Professional Bodies keep their professional standards relevant in a changing technological environment?
