Certificate in Green and Sustainable Finance

Managing climate-related risks and supporting the transition to a low-carbon world are our most significant global challenges. In order to tackle this collective challenge, finance professionals globally need to develop their knowledge of green and sustainable Finance.

This global, benchmark qualification will help individuals to develop their understanding of, and apply, green and sustainable finance principles and practice in their roles and within their institutions.  

Available Subsidies

If you are a Singapore Resident or Permanent Resident, you will be eligible for a course fee subsidy of 90% of GBP 565.  I.E. You will be reimbursed GBP 508.50. This is applied to courses that commence up to 31 December 2021, and are completed no later than 31 March 2022. 

If you enrol prior to 31 June 2021 and complete no later than 30 September 2021, you will also be eligible for:

  • An additional  5% IBF Credit.  I.E. The total subsidy you receive, will be GBP 536.75 (95% of the course fee GBP 565).

To apply for the course under the IBF-STS subsidy programme, when you complete the application form you MUST:

  • Enter your name as stated on your NRIC.
  • Provide your NRIC number – please enter this in the Staff number field, which is in section 3 About Your Employer. You must put the letters NRIC before the number e.g. NRICS1234567A.  Please also add the word Citizen (if you are a Singapore Citizen) or Resident (if you are a Permanent Resident).  e.g. NRICS1234567A Citizen or NRICS1234567A Resident.

To be eligible for the subsidy, you must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident and physically based in Singapore.  If you are eligible, you will be reimbursed directly by the IBF on completion of the programme.

You must link your NRIC to your PayNow bank account to facilitate disbursement by IBF.
