Edinburgh Finance Festival 2026
8–20 June 2026
WCBI 2026 takes place during the Edinburgh Finance Festival, a city‑wide programme of events led by the Global Ethical Finance Initiative. The festival brings together financial services professionals, policymakers, academics and innovators to explore the future of finance, with a strong focus on ethics and sustainability.

Ethical Finance Global 2026

As part of the Edinburgh Finance Festival, Ethical Finance Global 2026 is a flagship event organised by the Global Ethical Finance Initiative.
While this does not coincide with WCBI’s main conference day, it may be of interest to delegates — or accompanying colleagues — who are particularly focused on sustainability, ESG and ethical finance. Where helpful, we can support delegates in planning attendance in coordination with the event organisers.
Royal Highland Show
18–21 June 2026 | Edinburgh
For those interested in experiencing a major Scottish cultural event, the Royal Highland Show takes place in Edinburgh during the same week as WCBI. While not finance‑related, it offers a unique opportunity to experience Scottish food, farming, culture and rural life.

Hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme – Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), the Global Roundtable brings together leaders from banking, insurance and investment to discuss sustainable finance, climate risk and global collaboration.
London Climate Action Week
20–28 June 2026 | London
London Climate Action Week features over 700 events across the city, ranging from high‑level summits and panel discussions to workshops, exhibitions and networking opportunities. Topics span climate finance, policy, innovation and action across sectors.
