Formerly the Annual Banking Conference, Banking Professionalism 360 is the Chartered Banker Institute's flagship conference, bringing together a global community of banking professionals to explore what professionalism and trust mean in practice in a rapidly changing world.

At a time of accelerating technological change, increasing complexity and evolving expectations, the programme is designed to help delegates think beyond the challenges themselves and focus on how to respond to them. Through global discussions, keynote sessions, and expert insights, Banking Professionalism 360 will explore the leadership, judgement and professional behaviours that underpin confidence, resilience and trust in the banking profession.

Alongside thought-provoking discussions, delegates will join a diverse professional community from across the banking and financial services sector and share in the Institute's Celebration of Success, recognising excellence, achievement and professional impact.

Banking Professionalism 360 FAQs

Who is this event for?

Banking Professionalism 360 is open to banking and financial services professionals, Institute members, emerging leaders, learning and development colleagues, and anyone interested in the future of professionalism, trust and leadership in banking.

Is this a hybrid event?

Yes. Banking Professionalism 360 is a hybrid event. Chartered Banker Institute members have the option to attend in person at BMA House, London, or join remotely via livestream, while non-members can participate via livestream. The Morning Global Sessions are delivered virtually only, enabling participation from international speakers and experts from around the world.

What's included in my registration?

Your registration includes access to both Morning Global Sessions, the keynote address, masterclass and Celebration of Success ceremony. Delegates attending in person will also enjoy networking opportunities throughout the day, refreshments, canapés and a sparkling reception.

Will photographs and video be taken?

Photography and videography may be captured throughout the day and used in Institute communications, publications and promotional materials.

How do I get to the BMA?

BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP, is conveniently located in central London. The venue is approximately five minutes' walk from Euston and Russell Square stations, ten minutes from Euston Square station, and within easy walking distance of King's Cross St Pancras.

What should I wear?

Business attire or smart business casual is recommended for those attending in person.

Are dietary requirements catered for?

Yes. Please provide any dietary requirements when registering. (In person delegates only)

What are the Morning Global Sessions?

The Morning Global Sessions are virtual-only panel discussions bringing together perspectives from across the international banking and financial services community.

  • On Tuesday 27th October, the discussions will explore The Changing Nature of Professionalism, examining the capabilities, behaviours and leadership needed to thrive in a changing world.
  • On Wednesday 28th October, the focus shifts to The Changing Nature of Trust, exploring trusted decision-making, accountability and confidence in an age of AI and increasing complexity.

I'm a prize winner / sponsor / invited guest. Is this part of the Impact & Influence Day?

Yes. Banking Professionalism 360 forms part of the wider Impact & Influence Day experience for prize winners and their sponsors.

Prize winners and sponsors do not need to register for the conference via Eventbrite. Attendance and RSVP details will be provided directly to eligible attendees by email

Are refreshments included?

Yes. In-person attendees will enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits during refreshment breaks, as well as canapés and sparkling reception before the Celebration of Success. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when registering.

  • From 8:00am - 9:30am GMT:  A Global Panel Discussion exploring The Changing Nature of Professionalism in a world shaped by rapid change, increasing complexity and technological disruption.

    Drawing on perspectives from across the international banking and financial services community, this discussion will explore the leadership, judgement and behaviours needed to thrive in a changing world, and ask a fundamental question: as technology becomes more capable, what remains uniquely human?

    This virtual-only discussion will be livestreamed from 8:00am BST.

  • From 1:30pm GMT:  Our Hybrid Afternoon Programme brings together influential voices from across banking, financial services and beyond to explore what professionalism and trust mean in practice in a rapidly changing world. Through keynote addresses and thought-provoking discussions, speakers will share perspectives on leadership through uncertainty, professional judgement and the behaviours needed to navigate complexity, respond to change and maintain confidence in the banking profession.

    For those attending in person, the afternoon will offer valuable opportunities to engage with other professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and career stages. 

    Livestream commences from approximately 2:00pm BST.

  • From 5:30pm GMT: Join us for our Celebration of Success across the profession, recognising prize winners, outstanding achievement and our recent Fellows. The evening will also feature contributions from leading voices across banking and financial services, reflecting on achievement, professionalism and the future of the profession.

    Whether attending in person or via livestream, members and guests from around the world will have the opportunity to share in this special recognition of excellence and professionalism in practice.

    This hybrid session will also be livestreamed. Time TBC.

Wednesday 28th October 2026

  • From 8:00am - 9:30 am GMT: A Global Panel Discussion exploring The Changing Nature of Trust in a world shaped by AI, automation and increasing complexity.

    Drawing on perspectives from across the international banking and financial services community, this discussion will explore the foundations of trust in a rapidly evolving environment and ask a fundamental question: what does trusted decision-making look like in a changing world?

    This virtual-only discussion will be livestreamed from 8:00am BST.

Registration for Banking Professionalism 360 is available via Eventbrite.

Please note: Prize winners, sponsors and invited guests do not need to register through Eventbrite. Instead, please RSVP using the instructions provided in your invitation email.

Delegates can choose from one of two attendance options:

  • In Person at BMA House, London.  This option is exclusively available to Chartered Banker Institute Members. When booking, you will be asked to provide your membership number.
  • Online via livestream. Joining instructions will be emailed to registered attendees closer to the event date.

Places are subject to availability, and early booking is recommended.
