Event Details

To complete your CPD’s ethics element is always the hardest part to organise. Therefore to assist the District Centre is pleased to welcome back again our SME (Subject Matter Expert) Professor Charles Munn to facilitate a healthy debate “Can you make money and be ethical too”.

Even a decade on from the worst financial crisis in our industry conflict between the stakeholders, government and regulators creates the question, can being ethical survive the pressures of making money.

Professor Munn will share his thoughts but is very keen to hear yours (and so is the District Centre) so come along ready for debate and hopefully complete your CPD too. This is always a popular event so early booking recommended.

Facilitator

Prof Charles Munn OBE is a former chief executive of the Chartered Banker Institute and a well known writer and presenter on Professionalism and ethics. Still involved in these subjects and not only in the UK banking industry but in the wider UK public domain too. He also remains involved in the European banking Education network so the District Centre is very pleased that once again he has agreed to lead this ethics event and is looking forward to meeting/hearing the views of the local members of the Institute.
