What’s the role of finance professionals in creating a financial system that serves people and planet? The Chartered Banker Institute is joining forces with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and Finance Matters for an evening of exploration.

At this participatory gathering inside the Walkie Talkie building we'll take a closer look at how we think about ‘financial innovation’ and explore some of the opportunities and challenges for innovating from within institutions, in a way that’s responsible and sustainable.
The evening will open with a keynote address from CEO of the Finance Innovation Lab, Anna Laycock. The Finance Innovation Lab is a charity working for a financial system that serves people and planet and host of the Finance Matters community. Anna will spark conversation by sharing a view on the risks and opportunities inherent in financial innovation. Following this, subject matter experts will lead interactive discussions around how institutional financial innovation can contribute to a more sustainable and responsible future. Discussion topics may include: responsible use of data; sustainability and the climate challenge; ethical business models and human values at work.
