Our Planet: Too Big To Fail is a story that everyone in finance needs to know.  Inspired by the original Netflix Our Planet series and created by Emmy® Award-winning Silverback Films and WWF, Our Planet: Too Big To Fail explores the risks of inaction, the impact of investing-as-usual, and the critical role the finance sector can play in the fight for our world. 

ICAEW has been a long-term partner of WWF and has supported the development of an 8 minute edition of the film which was launched in September.  You can view the 8 minute version of the film via this link https://www.ourplanet.com/en/video/our-planet-too-big-to-fail/ (it’s an all-star cast!)

There will be a screening of the edited film followed by a panel discussion exploring the issues and actions for finance professionals on Wednesday 2 December (16:30-17:30 hours).  The panel will be chaired by ICAEW Northern President, Chris Soan, and will also include Alison Midgley, Sustainable Finance Specialist from WWF UK, David Mowat, Partner in Circularity Capital, and Francesca Sharp, Technical Lead Climate Change at ICAEW.
