Chartered Banker Diploma
We offer two routes to achieve the Chartered Banker diploma, both designed to provide the same level of knowledge, skills, and industry recognition.
Important: Learners must have completed the four Associate Chartered Banker-level certificates before starting the Chartered Banker Diploma.
Route 1: Enrol in the Chartered Banker Diploma
The Chartered Banker Diploma is a comprehensive programme that develops and enhances the advanced knowledge, skills, and professional judgement required of modern banking professionals.
By completing this diploma, learners:
-
Build advanced technical expertise and practical competencies
-
Develop over 20 professional and leadership skills
-
Earn the prestigious Chartered Banker (MCBI) designation
This all-in-one pathway allows learners to enrol directly in the Diploma and pay for all three Chartered Banker-level certificates at once.
Route 2: Complete Required Certificates Individually
This flexible route enables learners to achieve the Chartered Banker Diploma by completing three individual certificates. While learners follow the same curriculum as the Diploma route, this option allows for step-by-step progression and paying for each certificate separately.
Important: The Certificate in Leadership, Strategy and Risk (LSR) must be completed before the Certificate in Bank Risk Management (BRM).
Upon completing the certificates, learners will:
-
Achieve the prestigious Chartered Banker (MCBI) designation
-
Enhance their banking expertise and advance their careers
Note: Professionalism and Ethics, and Bank Risk Management will be replaced with Professional and Ethical Banking, and Risk Management in Banking in 2026.
