We have formally accredited the Banking and Finance MSc offered by Coventry University.

The programme aims to provide a solid grounding in the main components of commercial and investment banking and the changing structure of the international financial industry. The emphasis is on interpreting, evaluating and communicating financial information to support strategic decision making within a commercial context. On successful completion of the course students are eligible to opt-in to an accelerated route to Associate Chartered Banker status.

We have formally accredited the Retail and Digital Banking MSc and the Retail and Digital Banking MSc Apprenticeship offered by Cranfield School of Management. This MSc programme develops individuals’ knowledge and skills to enable them to perform effectively in the retail and digital banking sector. Successful completion of this MSc will lead to the additional award of the Chartered Banker Diploma Professional qualification and Chartered Banker status.

We have formally accredited the Banking / Finance Master’s degrees offered by the University of Dundee, School of Business. These include, MSc International Banking, MSc International Banking and FinanceMSc International Banking, Finance, Risk and Regulation, where Chartered Banker status will be achieved on completion.  Also, MSc International Banking, Finance and Investment Management, where Associate Chartered Banker status is achieved on completion.

University of East London

The Chartered Banker Institute has formally accredited the MSc Finance & Risk programme making it one of a select few UK programmes offering this level of recognition. Greenwich

We are pleased to be working with The University of Greenwich, Business School. Their MSc. International Banking and Finance (IBF) has been accredited by the Institute. 

Across the River Thames, MSc. International Banking and Finance (IBF) students are situated close to Canary Wharf. They receive the Associate Chartered Banker professional designation on successful completion of their programme. IBF offers an advanced and critical understanding of the theoretical frameworks and applied aspects of banking, credit and lending, financial regulation, financial markets, risk management, ethics, and corporate financial management.

Keele University’s MSc in Banking and Finance is accredited by the Chartered Banker Institute, with graduates gaining not only an MSc, but also the Associate Chartered Banker professional designation status on successful completion of the degree. 
In addition to core Banking modules on the programme, students will receive in-depth research training and have the opportunity to study the most up-to-date topics relevant to modern banking, such as FinTech and Green Finance. 
Students will also be able to gain substantial practical experience through a consultancy project or work placement.

 

St. Andrews

The Chartered Banker Institute has formally accredited the MSc Finance programmes offered by the School of Management, University of St. Andrews. These include, MSc Banking and Finance, where, for those who have elected to follow a specific pathway, Chartered Banker status will be achieved on completion, and MSc Finance and Management where, for those who have elected to follow a specific pathway, Associate Chartered Banker status can be achieved by going on to study the Chartered Banker Institute’s Professionalism & Ethics module.

The School of Management at the University of St Andrews was ranked overall first in Scotland by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023, which named the University of St Andrews the top university in Scotland and Scottish University of the Year. We have formally accredited the MSc Banking and Finance programme offered by the University of Stirling Management School; making it one of a select few UK programmes offering this level of recognition. Those who successfully complete the programme are eligible to apply for Associated Chartered Banker status with the Institute.

The University of Stirling Management School is ranked in the top 25 Management Schools in the UK and 96 percent of Stirling graduates are in employment or further study within six months of graduating from the University.
