For retail banks the cyber security landscape continues to evolve in 2018 and has never been under more scrutiny from regulators, the boardroom and their customers.  As banks drive even greater levels of connectivity against a backdrop of increasing levels of cyber enabled fraud and nation state backed activity, their approach to cyber security has become pivotal to future success. With new regulations and directives such as GDPR and PSD2 also looming large on the horizon, the penalty for failure has also never been higher.

We will be joined by Ross Foley and Michael Roberts from PwC's cyber security practice who will provide an overview of the current threat landscape for retail banks, and insight into what boards and regulators have come to expect from a mature and successful cyber security programme. The second half of the session will focus more specifically on the security implications of PSD2. As the ecosystem in which banks operate changes dramatically, what does this mean for your risk profile and what will be the key steps to addressing this new directive.
