What is the NPSO?

The NPSO is the UK’s leading authority for payments, working in the public interest to ensure the retail payment systems the UK relies on for its banking are safe, open, innovative and resilient.

Payments participant companies in Edinburgh are invited to meet on Wednesday 23 May for a buffet lunch starting at 1pm, followed by a roundtable discussion.

The meeting will be chaired by Toby Sheldon, Director of Communications, who will introduce the NPSO, our vision and our priorities for innovation. We will also be joined by our newly appointment Chief Operating Officer, Matthew Hunt, and colleagues from the New Payments Architecture programme to share our progress to date and our plans for the future of retail payments.
