Is it now easier to be a whistleblower in the City? Are financial service workers better treated following the introduction of the FCA's whistleblowing rules?
 
In 2012, we conducted research – Silence in the City – into the experience of whistleblowing in the financial services sector. We decided it was time to revisit the sector to see what difference whistleblowing rules implemented by the financial regulators in 2016 have made, and our analysis reveals both positive and negative changes.
 
Our panel will be discussing the report findings and more widely corporate whistleblowing cultures in the FS sector, sexual harassment and bullying, victimisation, and what measures could be taken to improve the sector and speaking up.
